01How much are private salsa lessons?

Published prices start at $95 for one 60-minute Individual lesson when no studio is included. Rates vary by lesson type, package, and studio option; use the pricing selector above for the exact published amount.

02Do you offer lesson packages?

Yes. Package validity begins on the purchase date: a single lesson is valid for 30 days, a 3 Pack for 6 weeks, a 5 Pack for 10 weeks, a 10 Pack for 20 weeks, and a 15 Pack for 30 weeks.

03Can couples book private lessons?

Yes. Couples pricing is available with or without a studio included, and the published price covers both participants.

04What does “With My Assistant” include?

This option includes Jariel’s coaching plus a dance assistant for partner practice, demonstrations, and guided feedback during the 60-minute lesson. Availability is confirmed before payment.

05Can groups book private salsa classes?

Yes. The Group Private option is for 3-10 people. The published $250 single-lesson rate and $750 five-lesson package cover the entire registered group—not each participant.

06What are the studio and travel costs?

“I have a place to train” uses rates that do not include a studio. “I need a studio” uses the official rate sheet marked “Price Includes Studio.” When you provide a location within the five boroughs, a $25 travel fee applies per visit, not per participant. Back-to-back lessons during one visit incur one travel fee; locations outside the five boroughs receive an individual quote.

07Do I need a dance partner?

No. Choose Individual if you want to work one-on-one with Jariel, or “With My Assistant” when you want guided partner practice without bringing your own partner. Couples and Group Private options are available when you want to train with people you bring.

08Can beginners work on a specific technique?

Private coaching can be tailored around your experience and goals, including fundamentals, timing, partnerwork, turns, footwork, musicality, and other listed focus areas. Confirm the specific lesson focus with Jariel.

09Where are private lessons held?

The final location is confirmed during booking. Jariel can travel to a student-provided location in any of New York City's five boroughs for a $25 fee per visit. Outside-city requests are considered individually.

10What are the scheduling and cancellation rules?

After choosing a package, contact Jariel at info@jariellasalsa.com to confirm all dates. Reschedule at least 24 hours ahead; later changes or no-shows count as used, including studio bookings. Late arrivals still end at the scheduled time. Genuine emergencies may be considered at Jariel's discretion. If Jariel cancels, the lesson is rescheduled without loss of credit. Packages are generally non-refundable after the applicable cancellation period; see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
